TECHNICAL SERVICES DIRECTORATE

• It is one of the support organs of the Court of Auditors, functionally and organically dependent on the Court of Auditors.

  The Technical Services Directorate is responsible for:

• Organizing the processes for review and decision by the Court;
• Drafting the report and opinion on the General State Account, the account of sovereign entities, as well as the social security account;
• Drafting the report and opinion on the accounts of the bodies, services, and entities subject to its jurisdiction;
• Preliminary verification of the processes to issue the conformity statement;
• Conducting audits and other control actions determined by the Court;
• Ensuring the processing of cases within the Court's jurisdiction;
• Providing advisory, study, and research functions to support the Court, as well as preparing opinions to be issued by the Court, in accordance with the law;
• Developing procedures for contracting, whenever necessary, external audit and consultancy services, in accordance with the law and based on the objectives approved by the Court;
• Implementing cooperation actions with similar bodies;
• Performing other activities determined by the higher authorities.
