REGIONAL AND PROVINCIAL SECTIONS

• In the domain of preventive oversight, it is the responsibility of the regional and provincial sections to::
  1. Pronounce on the verification of quotas related to the admission of personnel not linked to the civil service, as well as admissions in the entry category in the local administration of the State;
  2. Pronounce on contracts and draft contracts subject to preventive oversight, submitted to them by the organs mentioned in paragraphs c) and e) of article 2 of this law (Law No. 13/10 of July 9).
• Additionally, the regional and provincial sections, within their respective territorial scope, are responsible for exercising other competences provided by law.
• The regional and provincial sections do not have jurisdictional competence.
• The judges of the regional and provincial sections enjoy the same privileges and immunities as judges of the judiciary.
